Today, students worked to find patterns and "tricks" to help with our multiplication facts. The students found some great patterns that will help us memorize facts and prepare for our timed tests!

We learned that when we multiply by 9's, the sum of the numbers in the product always equal 9. We also learned that when we multiply an even number by 6, the numeral in the ones place is always the same as the factor. (for example--2 x 6=12, 8 x 6=48)
